What we love about Sally:

Having worked as a Travel Manger for over 20 years, Sally brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her consulting roles at Nina & Pinta.

Sally is an excellent communicator with strong problem solving skills .  Sally gained most of her travel experience working as Procurement Category Manager within the category giving her a strong grasp of the processes and methodology involved in good category management skills, including negotiation and stakeholder management skills.  A skilled communicator, Sally has been responsible for supplier management throughout her career, from implementation through to reviewing, monitoring and managing suppliers for non performance.

In order to fulfil her functions, Sally has relied on building her competencies in the areas of negotiation, trouble shooting, market research, conflict management, listening and challenging skills.  Her ability to galvanise stakeholders in a cross functional environment has been a key factor in her success.

Sally’s technical experience in addition to the wide remit of any multi national Travel Manager has included the implementation of supplier relationships including managing the ongoing relationship management.

This has required her to deploy many of her skills, including project managing areas of conflict within the business, mapping the gaps in user experience and process and mapping and implementing a solution.  Sally’s hands on approach to change management has helped to build communities of travelling employees and bookers within the organisations she has worked for, driving change and raising the profile of the travel team in house.

These skills combined with her knowledge of the travel industry make Sally a great candidate to support the Global Learning Academy at British Airways throughout the Negotiations Skills course as the “buyer” in the relevant role plays.
