Penny is one of the UK’s most well known and respected travel professionals with impressive skills in strategic sales, stakeholder engagement and training.
She has enjoyed over 35 years in the travel Industry, with considerable experience in the Leisure & Business Travel arenas. Starting her career with 10 years with Thomas Cook undertaking various roles, Penny worked her way up to Branch Management including a secondment role as Business Support Manger to a Senior Director.
As Area Sales Manager for Going Places, Penny was responsible for over 100 retail staff spread over 40 stores in the south of England. Penny joined Avis Budget Group in the Business Travel Team. She then moved to an International Partnership role, managing Airlines and Hotel groups and then finally she took up the role of Head of UK Business Travel,
Penny developed multi-brand selling experience over 17 years working with TMCs and Associations across the Avis Budget Group and brings considerable knowledge of sales management and relationship development to the Nina & Pinta team.
Penny was a Board member on the Industry Supplier Board for the Business Travel Association (BTA), Secretary for the Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) and works very closely with the BTA Cares programme.
