Michael is known for connecting people to purpose, delivering results, while building consensus and value. He is recognized for expertise with travel and expense management solutions, travel supplier negotiations, strategic planning, and diagnostic analysis to execute innovative, profitable solutions.
After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Finance, he began his career by working at the investment banking firm Sherwood Capital and later moved to the commercial banking division of Prime Bank in Atlanta, Georgia. Michael later merged his financial background with his passion for the travel industry and joined the TMC, Rosenbluth International. Since then, he has produced a proven record of 20+ years in global corporate sales, strategic program management, and business analytics for multinational Fortune 1000 clients.
Before joining Nina and Pinta, Michael spent the past two years as a Strategic Program Manager for Travel Leaders Corporate for larger accounts. There he acted as a business travel expert and trusted advisor collaborating with stakeholder groups to produce tactical business models that identified opportunities that enhanced the traveler experience while creating stakeholder value. Before that, Michael served as the Vice President for Williamsburg Travel Leaders, where he developed the company’s overall business plan, market positioning, financial goals, short and long-term strategies.
As a member of the Georgia Business Travel Association, Michael has represented the state numerous times at the GBTA Legislative Summit in Washington, DC.
Michael is also a volunteer financial coach for Habitat for Humanity – providing personal, face-to-face budgeting counseling and support to new homebuyers in reaching their personal financial goals.
In his free time, Michael enjoys travel, photography, cycling, and endurance walking.
